i have the maybelline xxl intense in black & a maybelline unstoppable shiny black.the 1st one is the one in the pic, it's waterproof and has a "lengthener" on 1 side and a "voluminiser" on the side.
i personally think for my really non-existence lashes it's quite a a saviour cos the lengthener really works as the white fibres attaches to the ends of my lashes. after tt you got to use the voluminiser end to add volume. it's black mascara so you're like suppose to cover up all the white fibres from the 1st step.
it can quite be quite irritating and embarrassing if you left out any white fibres uncovered so my tip was that i only use the lengthener on the tips, but use the voluminiser from root out. if i have time, i then use my lash comb to smoothen out any clumps.
for the unstoppable shiny black, i got it from watson( for <$14) cos it was on sale and i wanted a non-waterproof mascara to use daily to school. i've been lazy to using it cos it not quite lengthening so it's like use already also cant see much difference. the "shiny" black effect is not very very obvious, i mean if you look closely then you should be able to notice it has a shiny finish as compared to it's matt counterparts.
however it's clump free, washes out well and very much smudge proof. so i recommend this for people with long lashes or as a finishing coat for the shiny black effect.
yup, as you guys have known i have the event-of-the-year to attend, i'm dying to find out the easiest way to attach fake lashes. i tried on my own but it's really tough. i wonder how the taiwanese girls do it.

oh no i just bought the maybelline unstoppable shiny black HAHA. cos i didn't want lengthening nor volumizing so i chose this. and i bought it recently at 20% off from watsons too! haven't try yet. shall wait till CNY. it'll probably be suitable for me cos i also like my lashes natural.
oh and yj, the easiest way is probably to get professional help. haha. it's a one-day event after all. and u can ask him/her how to DIY. =P
yanj try again must practice until you make it. i think first draw the eyeliner. measure the eye lashes. then curl your natural lashes then apply glue on the fake lashes but dun stick it on immediately wait until the glue is semi dry. dunstick too close to the inner corner of your eyes if not when you blink its going to be quite uncomfortable. then lastly coat with mascara. anyway which stage are u stuck? ven
i'm stuck at the part where u stick the "lashes". my lashes block them from getting anywhere near the root. so i end up looking like i glue them too high. n it looks like shit.

eh wr go and try lor. scully u are a NATURAL at putting lashes haha.
