I found this in a bookby Jaeclyn Tay. It should be consider useful since we don't regularly use our makeup products. I guess we should start labelling our products once we use it for the first time for hygiene puropose:).
Foundation, Concealer, Loose Powder, Blusher, Eye Brow Pencil: to be thrown after 2 to 3 years
Eye Liner Pencil, Eyeshadow, Lipstick and Lip Liner: to be thrown after 2 years
Gel Eyeliner: to be thrown after 1 year
Mascara and Liquid Eyeliner: to be thrown after 2 months
Sponges and Puffs: to be thrown after 1 to 2 months
False Eyelashes: to be thrown after 2 to 3 times usage

i dunnnoe if all the prof makeup artist follow it? cos for me its you dian she bu de. anyway its just for reference.
i always break the rule for mascara! and like ven, i can't bear to throw away unfinished make-up.
okay, but i draw the line at 6 months for mascara. haha.
liq eye liner only 2 mths?!? oh dear...den y do they still make them in portions tt can last much more then tt?
yj quite true hor. next time if anyone noes any manufacturer muz ask them do mini bottle.
